Biography
I am a Ph.D. candidate (Sep 2016 - present) at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Information Systems Technology and Design Pillar. My advisors are Prof. Tony Q.S. Quek at SUTD, and Dr. Tony T. Luo at the Institute for Infocomm Research (I²R), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore, and Dr. Derek Leong.
I work to bring Cloud computing to IoT devices together.
Research & Development Interests
My research interests include (but hopefully not limited to):
- Edge/Fog computing
- Wireless Sensor Networks, Scheduling for IoT networks
- Data mining, Machine Learning
- Distributed Computing
Software engineering skills: C, Python, C++, Java, databases (e.g., MySql, Sqlite), network programming, PLEX-C, ASA.
Education
- M.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) in 2015
- B.S. degree in Telecommunications Engineering (first class honor) from Kiev Polytechnic Institute (KPI), Ukraine in 2011
- High School for the Gifted in the subject Mathematics from Hue University of Science, Hue City, Vietnam.
Work Experience
- Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Research Assistant 07/2015 - 09/2016
- Setup experiments in the laboratory for Wireless Body Area Networks, and measure networks’ performance.
- Implementation adaptive MAC scheduling schemes for wireless communications, i.e., IEEE 802.15.4e and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
- DEK Technologies, Research and Development Engineer 10/2011 – 06/2015
- Research and implement proposal for new features of APZ-AXE systems that have been the main project of Ericsson Company for many years.
- Involve in some projects and all phases of the software designed process from writing proposals, planning, and implementation.
